The app Book Keeper does not collect any personal information, and it does not contain any analytics code.
The app needs an internet connection to find books. It looks them up in Open Library, a free public book catalog, and loads book covers from it. A search sends Open Library the text you typed and your device's language, so results can match it. Every request also names the app and its version. Nothing else about you or your device is sent beyond what any web request includes, and the developer never receives your searches.
Your library is stored on your device and holds only public book details from Open Library, such as titles, authors, and publication years. Like the rest of the app's data, it is included in your device's Android backup when backup is turned on. Removing a book from your library deletes it from the device.
